Oh Angie, how you know the way to tug at the heartstrings. The new album is chock full of superb songwriting, and the knack for finding a way to relate to you personally on many levels. Folk-acoustic driven songs like “Hang Among the Stars” and “Lost my Way” showcase the beautiful vocal chords and penchant for writing simple, yet powerful songs. Being compared to Lisa Loeb or Sarah McLachlan is a good thing. Adding strings and a country twang here and there is another good thing. You becoming an Angie Stevens fan after listening to the new EP is a good thing too. Your heart and soul will thank you.

You forgot to mention the other half of the band, Haley Rydell. I’m With Her is a band consisting of Angie AND Haley. Haley wrote probably half of the songs on the album, sings lead on some and harmony on all, plays the fiddle, guitar, and mandolin. She’s a beautifully talented musician who deserves her “just deserts” for this incredible piece of work.
