Coral Thief Heads Out on Winter Tour

Composed of Singer/Songwriter/Producer David Baty, Guitarist/Songwriter Chris Howell, Bassist/Reef Studios owner Justin Crane, Drummer/Dub Selector/Booking Christopher “Ape” Hicks and Percussionist/Keys/Graphic Design Troy Hite, all have been in the Reggae Rock scene for many years and bring their own unique style to the table. You can hear elements of different musical backgrounds combining together for the mutual love and respect of the Reggae Rock genre to form what is known as Coral Thief.

CURRENT TOUR SUMMARY
Time to reboard our bus Skoolie and leave the foothills of the Rocky Mountains to come to a city near you for the first leg of the “I Before E Tour”. The tour concept came from simple grammatical errors on promotional material for the word “thief” in Coral Thief. We figured this would leave out any more confusion… Anyhow, this tour is going to be amazing! Our first round in Skoolie was quite an adventure and we are looking to add to the “Mobile Reef Chronicles”, so you can follow some fun, interesting, wild and down right frightening stories of life on the road. We will be playing the majority of the shows with The Originalites out of the famed 17th ST. Studios Costa Mesa, CA and our brother Yoni from Matisyahus Live at Stubbs. We will also be sharing the stage with bands such as Kat from American Idol, Tugg, and Ghosts of Swinetown. From the Midwest to Texas and to the west coast, you might want to check all dates and locations because we quite possibly might be coming to a city near you! Be sure to grab yourself a copy of our new EP, yep you guessed it “I before E” from one of our lovely band members or merch person at the show. Us boys from Coral Thief are very excited for this tour and can’t wait to penetrate that noggin of yours with some good reggae beats!
