Crashopper has released a funked-out, danceable (if at times a bit jammy) debut EP on their ReverbNation page. The album features Ben Ford on vocals, sounding a lot like a Stephen Tyler and Trey Anastasio mix, with quick but steady drum beats underneath. The guitar riffs are funky, and the band adds Veronica Menard on violin to round out the sound.

They slow it down a bit with the song ā€œIā€™m Leaving,ā€ an emotional ballad about feeling lost. The rest of the album is upbeat and danceable, a good reminder that rock music can still fill out a dance floor even in this age of EDM and top 40 dominated clubs.
