DCAC works to improve the lives of children traumatized by sexual abuse and violence – as well as those who are at high-risk – with prevention, education and direct services. The organization’s mission is to prevent abuse, strengthen families and restore childhood.  In 2014, more than 2,000 children received services from DCAC that included forensic interviews, assessments, crisis management, therapy and mental health treatment.  In addition, 2,100 children, 50 parents, 2,300 community members and 100 teachers received prevention programming training and consultation.
