FLOGGING MOLLY POSTPONE US DATES DUE TO UNANTICIPATED CIRCUMSTANCES

Nashville, TN – Acclaimed Celtic punk band Flogging Molly are postponing their last two US dates in 2011, including their performance at Channel 93.3’s Not So Silent Night, due to unanticipated circumstances. Drummer George Schwind was just informed that, due to unforeseen complications, his wife will need to deliver their first child prematurely. The band will be returning from Europe this week. Upon their arrival, Schwindt will be heading home to be with his wife for the birth. Please note that the prognosis is good and the band fully supports Schwindt’s need to be present.

Flogging Molly is rescheduling their Colorado performance to March 14 at the Ogden Theater in Denver as part of the Green 17 Tour.  Tickets for the March 14 show go on sale Dec 9 at 10am for Channel 93.3 members at www.AXS.com.

The Flobots have stepped in to fill Flogging Molly’s slot at Channel 93.3’s Not So Silent Night with Rise Against at 1STBANK Center, December 6th. Flogging Molly’s promotional ticket allotment is going on sale at the Pepsi Center Box Office at Noon on Sunday.  Each ticket will be $9.33 while supplies last.  Details on this offer are available at area93.com.
