[DENVER, CO] – This fall, road warriors Davy and Peter Rothbart are hurtling your way on FOUND Magazine’s 10th Anniversary Tour! For a decade, the FOUND team has collected and published anything that gives a glimpse into someone else’s life — love letters, birthday cards, to-do lists, poetry on napkins, anything goes! Heartwarming, hilarious, and outrageous submissions pour in each month from readers around the world. Now the Rothbarts are hopping back in the tour van for an exciting cross-country romp through 37 states and 79 cities.

DATE: Weds, October 24, 2012 at 8pm

VENUE: Bug Theatre — 3654 Navajo Street, Denver, CO 80211

At each exhilarating show, Davy (FOUND’s Editor and plucky point guard) will share the latest magnificent and mesmerizing finds that have landed in the mailbox at FOUND HQ, while Peter (FOUND’s international heartthrob) will dazzle with beautiful, haunting, and hysterical songs based on FOUND notes.

Davy will also share stories from his new book of personal essays, My Heart is an Idiot, 16 stories of love and adventure. Dave Eggers says that “Davy Rothbart has the humor and purity of heart you want and need in an observer of contemporary American life,” and Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love) says the book “contains some of the most perfect and heartbreaking writing that I have ever read.” The book has also garnered glowing praise from Tom Robbins, The New Yorker’s Susan Orlean, This American Life regular Sarah Vowell, radio host Ira Glass, and David Sedaris, as well as The New York Times (“achingly funny”) and The Daily Beast (“refreshing in its utter lack of pretension.”)

Bring your friends, bring your finds, and join Davy and Peter Rothbart for a very special night!
