PEOPLE’S FAIR NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR NON-PROFIT PARTICIPANTS

Groups are welcome to apply to exhibit or to sell beverages to fundraise for their organizations

Denver, Colo. – February 20, 2014 – This year marks the 43^rd annual CHUN Capitol Hill People’s Fair, an event with a tradition of supporting the Denver community and local non-profit groups.  Once again, non-profits are welcome to participate at the People’s Fair as exhibitors; promoting their services to the Greater Denver and Colorado community.  Non-profits seeking to exhibit their services and recruit volunteers will pay a fraction of the booth fee that other vendors pay to participate in the festival.  Applications are available at www.peoplesfair.com.

 Along with non-profit exhibitors, the People’s Fair is also recruiting non-profit organizations to run the beverage booths onsite at the Fair, selling beer, soft drinks, cocktails and wine.  Groups that staff these “Community Partner” booths will earn a percentage of the proceeds for their organizations.  Preference for Community Partners will be given to non-profits who have successfully staffed these booths in previous years.  The People’s Fair urges groups selling alcoholic beverages to obtain TIPS training, to educate their volunteers on responsible alcohol sales.  For more information, groups should contact the CHUN office at303-830-1651.
