Rocketspace Rehearsal Studio and Lesson Space Now Open!

Musicians and bands looking for a fantastic and reasonable practice studio need look no further. Rocketspace, owned and operated by local musician, Kate Innes, opened this last month at 2711 Larimer St. in Denver. has put together four pretty sweet rehearsal studios. Innes plays a big part in the Colorado music community. In addition to Rocketspace and her own Denver band the Blackouts, Innes teaches guitar at Girls Rock Denver and the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver.

Studio room rates start at $16 per hour, and there are deals for after-hours and early birds. Call (303) 635-6074 for pricing. You can practice from 1-40 hours per month. Each room will be equipped with a P/A system, four microphones, and a 5-piece kit including cymbals, bring your own extras.

  • Room size: 18×14 feet (studios 1-3) and 14 x 14 (studio 4)

  • Drums (5 piece kit plus cymbals) available in each room bring your own extra cymbals double kick pedal.
  • Bass cabinets & guitar cabinets available. Amps too, for a small charge. Or bring your own rig.

  • Rubber clips isolate the studs from drywall to reduce low-frequency noise
  • Double drywall layers
  • Green Glue noise proofing compound dampens sound between drywall layers
