PRESS RELEASE

For Immediate Release

“Some bands meet the standard, and some bands create the standard. Sugar Organ’s trifecta punch of hip-hop, punk, and metal has created the new standard for hip-hop.”

-Jenn Cohen, Managing Editor, Colorado Music Buzz, Denver, CO

After receiving wide praise and being named Best New Hip-Hop band at the Indie Entertainment Summit this year, Denver’s own SUGAR ORGAN is releasing their CD and performing at the Denver Hip-Hop Showcase on December 22, 2012 at Herman’s Hideaway.

Sugar Organ wrote, recorded, and engineered the 18-track CD over a six-month period at Ominous Records. Given that their backgrounds include punk and metal, their unique flavor of hip-hop, is unprecedented. When these two take the stage, you won’t be expecting what you’ll hear. As Underground Hip-Hop Blog guru, Armando Ulena said, “You guys are killin’ it. I look at you guys, and I don’t see this coming out of you.”

Sugar Organ gathered support from living legend, Violet Brown, who had this to say: “I’m not even through the full CD yet, and I’m f*ckin’ knocked out. I think it’s really, really, really, really good.” Check out their tracks at www.reverbnation.com/sugarorgan and catch their live show and CD release on December 22, 2012, at Herman’s Hideaway at the #Definition Hip-Hop Showcase.

These guys are poised and ready to start a west-coast tour in early 2013, as well as perform at Lake Havasu, AZ for Spring Break 2013.
