Youth Media Studio-Denver

The Colorado Symphony, DeVotchka and Flobots.org invited middle and high school students from across the Front Range to a special dress rehearsal on February 17 at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver. Students in grades 12 and below had the rare opportunity to watch two of Denver’s most beloved musical ensembles prepare for a collaborative. A VIP reception followed the performance, where Denver Housing Authority announced the redevelopment of the Lincoln Park home site, and the 6,000 square foot, energy-efficient youth space that Flobots.org will open in August 2013. DHA has already contributed $850,000 to the project. Flobots.org has 2.1 Million dollars to raise over the next 18 months.
