Bitchfest 2013 Coming to Trailside Saloon
BITCHFEST: DENVER’S LADIES OF BRUTALITY AND METAL ON ONE STAGE
Swinging Noose Productions is proud to present The Dead Lotus Society, Nexhymn, Vomit Slaughter, War Ends in Silence, and Morbid Asphyxiation all on one stage at Denver’s first annual BitchFest on August 3rd, 2013! The concert will be held at Trailside Saloon ( 10360 Colorado Blvd, Thornton, CO 80229) and tickets are availble for $5.00.
Inspired by efforts of the early Riot Grrrl scene, brutal female metal musicians from all around Denver are coming together to melt some proverbial ear drums and deny that age-old view that the ladies of this male-dominated genre are doomed to cat-fights and diva behavior. Instead, the so-called “fairer sex” is not some sexual gimmick for concert-goers; these female artists are forces to be reckoned with.

About BitchFest:
BitchFest originated in Austin, TX in 2010 through the efforts of Hyatt Llorona of The Dead Lotus Society to wage an “estrogen assault” on the Austin rock and metal scene. The show brought acts from around the city, including One Eyed Doll, together for one night at the former Club Encore. Following the success of this show and a move the Denver, BitchFest is looking at it’s first time in the Mile High City in August.
