Denver, CO – March 20 – Denver progressive rock visionaries Lexigram will release a self-titled EP on Saturday, April 21st at the Gothic Theatre. Recorded by Brad Smalling at Evergroove Studios in Evergreen Colorado, the band’s first official release under its new name will include three original tracks. A fourth track, the band’s cover of Pink Floyd’s “Welcome to the Machine,” will be available to attendees of the release show.

The three original tracks “Robot Haikus of Despair and Self Loathing,” “Flagellation”, and “Zombie Cheer Camp” showcase a new sound for the band.  The new songs are shorter and more cohesive than the writing the band members did under their former name, Yerkish. “They’re harder to play, but easier to enjoy,” says Lexigram bassist, Brent Moran.

To celebrate the occasion, Lexigram will reward fans with some special treats at the release show.  Everyone attending the show will each receive a hard copy of the EP, as well as a download code allowing access to a digital copy of Lexigram’s cover of “Welcome to the Machine.”  There will be limited edition, customizable t-shirts printed on-site by Troy’s Custom Tees. Finally, each concertgoer will have the opportunity to win a six-month pass to all shows at the Gothic Theatre.

Denver bands Seris, Nemesys, and Panal S.A. de C.V. will also lend their talent to the show, bringing some of Denver’s best prog rock talent together under one roof for the first time.
