Mark’s Midnight Carnival Show, consisting of band members Mark Bush (vocals, guitar, and bass), Scott Bein (guitar and bass), and Gavin Straub (drums), recently released their self-titled album, after being together for two years.

The nine tracks are fronted by Bush’s soft, yet strong vocals, some of which are comparable to Marc Roberge from O.A.R. The CD is peppered folky-pop, as well as with hints of the Grateful Dead.

The two songs that stand out are “Dancing,” which, as the name implies, makes you want to boogie. And saving the best for last, “Again,” a love song for anyone who has fallen out of love with someone, and desperately wants that love to be the way it once was. “Wouldn’t you like to, wouldn’t you love to, fall in love with me again; ‘cuz I, oh, how I want to, oh, how I’d love to, fall in love all over again with you.”
