ONE TON PIG KICKS OFF SPRING COLORADO TOUR 2014

A six piece band from Jackson Hole, One Ton Pig will hit the front country revisiting venues in Denver and Ft. Collins. They will then turn toward mountain towns, much like their home-base, Jackson Hole, Wyoming. As they have done before, OTP will roll into mountain venues in Frisco, Aspen, Keystone, Steamboat…. continuing on a path through Colorado.

For seven years, One Ton Pig has been building a loyal and passionate fan base with tight arrangements, well blended harmonies, mesmerizing jams and thought provoking lyrics. This band has been winning audiences the old-fashioned way: one barroom show at a time. The past two years have brought OTP a 3rd self-produced album (featuring Grammy Nominee Matt Flinner), a write-up in New York Times, countless festivals & shows and legendary jams with likes of Grammy Award winners Travelin’ McCourys. Take the traditional bluegrass instrumentation, add drums and a melting pot of original music with influences from all American roots music and you get the One Ton Pig experience.

Kicking off the March Tour, the Pig will perform an all acoustic show at the famous Dornan’s in Moose, Wyoming. “There is nothing more revealing than an acoustic show. It helps us get surgical with our chops, arrangements and harmonies. This allows us hyper-focus as we embark on our tour and ensures that we are bringing a tight show.” (Frontman-Michael Batdorf) The band was built to have fun and that is exactly what they bring to every performance. Gather good people & spirits in a good venue and let OTP ring in an evening of celebration.
